Canada announces CAD 300 million for H2Global initial auction

H2Global is excited to share that Canada will commit up to CAD 300 million (approx. EUR 200 million) to bolster clean hydrogen trade between Canada and Germany. This initiative is part of the joint Canada-Germany Hydrogen Alliance, aiming to facilitate industrial decarbonization in Germany and across Europe.

Today, Hintco GmbH announces Fertiglobe as the successful bidder of the first H2Global pilot auction for renewable ammonia, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The winning bidder, Fertiglobe, a strategic partnership between ADNOC and OCI, will start producing renewable ammonia destined for delivery in European ports in 2027 for a maximum contract value of EUR 397 million.

H2Global Foundation And Japan Hydrogen Association Sign MOU

June 3rd, 2024 – Today, H2Global and the Japan Hydrogen Association (JH2A) signed an MOU to formalize their ongoing collaboration. JH2A a collaborative organization with 453 member companies and organizations (as of June 1st 2024), including Toyota Motor Corporation, Iwatani Corporation, and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, among others. Launched in December 2020, JH2A aims to promote the development of a hydrogen society in Japan by fostering public and private alliances and creating regulatory frameworks to support hydrogen initiatives.
